Aidan and I went in the front yard last night. We live in a very dark neighborhood (no streetlights) with virtually no pollution so at night the sky is littered with stars. It's really beautiful. It led to this exchange:
Aidan: Mommy, when the sun goes down our planet is in outer space.
Mommy: I know. The sky looks really neat.
Aidan (to the sky and loudly) HELLO OUTER SPACE. I'M AIDAN AND THIS IS EARTH.
Mommy: Aidan not so loud, our neighbors are sleeping.
Aidan: (whispering) Goodnight outer space.
Aidan and I were driving in the car and had this fun exchange:

Mommy: Aidan, when mommy and daddy got married we had a party. This was the first song we danced to after we were married.
Aidan: Yeah, you had a big party and you ate lots and lots of food. When you went home you found out you were pregnant.
Mommy: Because of the food?
Aidan: Yeah. Then when I was big enough you went to the hospital and BAM, Aidan. You were so happy to meet me.
Mommy: I sure was.
This is what I've been doing nonstop for the last three days:
obsessed
I refresh it every 5 minutes. I can't let the election go.
Aidan: Mommy I'm feeling grumpy.
Mommy: I think it's because you're hungry. Let go get some food.
While eating dinner
Aidan: My grumpies are going away.
Mommy: That's great.
Aidan: Yeah. My grumpies went out of me. They went over my brain and then out of my ear.
