Mommy: I know, he loves you too.
Aidan: He scratches and bites.
Mommy: That's how he plays. How do you think cats show love?
Aidan: (thinking) Well, I like to pretend that he loves me.
Mommy: He does loves you. He purrs when he's happy. That's how he shows love.
